FLATBUSH, Brooklyn — Police are searching for two men who attempted to rape a woman then punched her in the face multiple times when she tried to fight them off in Flatbush Tuesday overnight.

The 25-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Tennis Court and Ocean Avenue when two men started following her around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to police. One of the men pushed her against a parked car, kissed her neck and touched her vagina over her clothing. She pushed him off and ran into a nearby residential building.

The men followed her into the building's vestibule and pinned her against the door, police said. They attempted to pull her pants off but she continued to fight them off. One attacker eventually knocked her to the ground and punched her in the face multiple times, according to police.

The attack continued until a resident entered the vestibule. The men then fled the scene.

Both suspects are described as a man between 18 and 25 years old, 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 11-inches with medium builds.
