THE BRONX – Police said the victim in an alleged abduction was found Wednesday after a witness claimed he was pulled in a van at gunpoint Tuesday.

The 33-year-old man walked into the 45th Precinct on his volition in good health, according to police, but authorities will continue to investigate the matter.

The NYPD responded to a 911 call of an assault and abduction at 1226 Gillespie Ave. around 3:20 p.m.

Arriving officers were informed by a reporter that a young man with stocky build was forcibly abducted at gun point in front of 1319 Gillespie Ave. by four males, police said.

The victim was apparently being assaulted and forced into a silver Chrysler Town and Country, possibly model year 2005-2007, which was seen traveling northbound on Gillespie Avenue and turning east onto Dudley Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Surveillance video released by police showed the van traveling from 1363 Gillespie Ave. to 1437 Gillespie Ave.
