TAMPA, Fla. — A private investigator hired by Jose Baez, the defense attorney for Casey Anthony, claims Baez admitted that Casey Anthony killed and buried the body of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

ORLANDO, FL – JULY 17: Casey Anthony leaves with her attorney Jose Baez from the Booking and Release Center at the Orange County Jail on July 17, 2011 in Orlando, Florida after she was acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee Anthony, it was unknown where Casey Anthony was going after the release. In court documents that went public last month, Dominic Casey said Baez told him he “needed all the help he could get to find the body before somebody else did,” according to WFTS.

The bombshell court records also allege that Casey Anthony paid her lawyer with sex, and that the defense team tried to put Caylee’s murder on the person who eventually found her body in the woods near her grandparents’ home, a man named Roy Kronk, who was working as a meter reader.

Dominic Casey resigned from the case in October of 2008, some three months after he was hired.

In 2011, a Florida jury found Casey Anthony not guilty in connection to the death of her daughter.

These documents are public record as part of Casey Anthony’s bankruptcy case filed in Tampa. Read all the documents here.
