Police investigating death of man found lying in Huntington Station roadway

HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. — Suffolk County police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Huntington Station man found in a roadway Sunday morning.

Police found William Sarcenolima, 33, of Huntington Station partially in the roadway on West Hills Road around 4 a.m.

The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community First Aid Squad where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say they are looking into whether Sarcenolima was a victim of violence. Police withheld releasing information regarding his injuries as part of their investigation.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
