Dante L. Gibari of Harlem was discovered after the NYPD responded to a 911 call of an overturned vehicle on 600 E. 82nd St. in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Once extricated from the vehicle, police realized Gibari had suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach area and he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A motive in the crime remained unknown Monday, and police said they were continuing to search for two men believed to have shot at Gibari and fled from the scene on foot.

The BMW had several bullet holes and damaged multiple vehicles when it crashed.
