1 dead, 1 critically injured in Bronx stabbings

MELROSE, Bronx – One man is dead, another is critically wounded after being stabbed late Saturday night.

The NYPD said officers responded to a call of two men stabbed in front of 363 E 151st St. in the Melrose section of the Bronx around 11:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, police found a 26-year-old man with a stab wound to the torso and 30-year-old man stabbed in the abdomen.

EMS took both men to Lincoln Hospital where the younger victim was pronounced dead. The other man is in critical condition.

Police identified the slain victim as Roberto Rodriguez, who lived one block away from where he was fatally stabbed.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
