Brooklyn gas station robbed by camouflage-clad man who pretended to have a gun: police

SHEEPSHEAD BAY, Brooklyn — Police are looking for a man who pretended to have a gun when he robbed a BP gas station of $1,000.

On Friday at 5:40 p.m., a masked suspect entered a BP gas station at 3095 Avenue U and pretended to have a gun when he demanded money, police said.

The suspect took $1,000 before fleeing in a silver Ford Expedition heading south on Gerritsen Avenue, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is a white man, 5 foot 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, 40-50 years old. He was seen wearing glasses, camouflage baseball cap, beige pants, olive colored jacket, camouflage mask and tan shoes.
