PARKCHESTER, The Bronx — An 11-year-old has been arrested for stealing a grandmother’s purse while she was carrying her grandson.

At 7:25 p.m. on February 26, the 11-year-old snatched a 53-year-old’s purse from around her arm while she was seated, carrying her grandson, police said. The man fled south on Commonwealth Avenue, police said.

They were inside an MTA bus at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and East Tremont Avenue, police said.

Her purse contained an iPhone 5 and personal ID.

On Friday, an 11-year-old boy was arrested for the robbery. His name is not being released by police.
