Fire breaks out at Queens home

QUEENS, N.Y. – At least one person was taken to a hospital Monday with injuries they suffered in a house fire in Queens, authorities said.

Flames broke out about 9:22 a.m. on the second floor of a home at 205-16 113th Road, according to EMS. It was under control about 25 minutes later.

One person was rushed to a hospital in serious condition, EMS said. No further details are available.
