Man critically injured after falling from window of Upper West Side hotel

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan — A man is in critical condition after police say he fell from a high floor of a hotel on the Upper West Side.

Emergency officials were called to 203 W. 94th St., around 3:30 p.m., for reports of a person falling out of a window.

The man was found in the rear of the building. Officials say he fell from the tenth floor of the Days Hotel.  It's not clear at this time if he fell or jumped.

Police sources tell PIX11 the victim, 29, checked into the hotel on Thursday and was scheduled to check out Monday.

Witnesses told police that the man was moving when they found him. The man was reportedly bleeding from the eyes, ears and mouth.

He was rushed to St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital where he is in critical condition.

Police sources say the victim got into an argument before the incident. The circumstances surrounding the argument are unknown at this time.
