Brooklyn man charged with attempted sexual abuse in East New York flashing: NYPD

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn — A Brooklyn man has been charged with the attempted sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl in East New York, police say.

Akijah Hall, 20, of East New York was arrested and charged Wednesday police say. Hall was charged with attempted sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, public lewdness and harassment.

Hall is accused of grabbing an 11-year-old girl in East New York Tuesday morning and allegedly exposing himself to her. The girl, who was walking to school on Pitken Avenue, let out a scream, causing the suspect to run away.

It's unknown if Hall has a lawyer.
