Suspect in custody in connection to flashing 11-year-old walking to school in East New York: NYPD

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn — Police are questioning a suspect accused of grabbing a young girl and exposing himself to her in Brooklyn Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 8 a.m., in the vicinity of Elton Street and Pitkin Avenue in East New York.

Police say the victim, 11, was walking to school when the suspect grabbed her arm and exposed himself.  The young girl screamed and the suspect ran away.

The suspect was taken into custody at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
