NEW YORK — Jim Carrey is an A-list star that is an A+ tipper.

The A-list actor was dining with friends at The Chester in New York City’s Meatpacking District on Saturday night. They racked up a $151 bill and was pretty happy with the meal and service. Carrey was so satisfied that he reportedly left a $225 tip for the waitress, according to PEOPLE.

That’s a 150 percent tip. Usually a $30 would suffice (based on the standard 20 percent tipping rule).

Carrey was spending the weekend in New York City. The actor also tweeted that he saw the popular Broadway play “Hamilton” on Thursday.

Carrey isn’t the only Hollywood celebrity who is a generous tipper. Last month, Amy Schumer also went to see Hamilton during a trip to the Big Apple and gave the bartenders a $1,000 tip on a $77 bill.

The “Hamilton” bartenders posted photos on Instagram to thank the comedienne.
