Man caught on surveillance pointing gun at teen in front of Brooklyn’s Farragut Houses

DUMBO, Brooklyn — Police are searching for a man who was seen on surveillance video shooting a 15-year-old in front of the Farragut Houses Friday.

The man was in front of 234 Sands Street at 5:07 p.m. when he fired a gun at a teen twice, police said. The bullets struck him in both legs. The man then fled the scene.

The 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.

The incident was caught on NYCHA surveillance cameras. The suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants with white stripe lines.
