Man sought in two sex assaults that happened minutes apart in Queens

RIDGEWOOD, Queens -- Police are looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting two different women minutes apart in the Ridgewood area of Queens early Saturday morning.



The first incident happened at 1:42 a.m. when the 20-year-old woman was walking home and the suspect pushed her to the ground. She told police the man then grabbed her genitals then fled on foot.

Just a few minutes later, at 1:48 a.m., a 25-year-old woman was walking in the area of Harman Street when the suspect approached her from behind, put his hand around her neck and tried to put his other hand down his pants. He stole her purse before fleeing the area.
