MIDTOWN, Manhattan — Multiple people were injured after an MTA express bus crashed into a pillar underneath the FDR Drive in midtown Monday afternoon.
The crash happened near E. 34th Street on the FDR Drive service road around 4:30 p.m.
Sources say 11 people were on the bus at the time.
Eight of the passengers and the bus driver are being transported to area hospitals.
None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
