Body found floating in the Hudson River in the Bronx

RIVERDALE, The Bronx — A man’s body was found in the Hudson River Saturday afternoon, police said.

NYPD Harbor found the body in the the river in the vicinity of Palisade and Independence avenues around 1 p.m. after they received a 911 call.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
