A worker died Thursday afternoon after tumbling from one of the tallest skyscrapers in the country, the Grand Wilshire Tower in downtown Los Angeles, which is under construction.

He landed on the roof of a car traveling along Figueroa Street around 12:30 p.m., according to KTLA.  Investigators set up a white enclosure over the body, which landed in the second lane.
