Driver charged after posting viral video running over Trump campaign sign

WILMINGTON, N.C.—Police have charged a man who posted a viral video of himself running over a Trump campaign sign with his car.

Julian Schueesler,20, posted a video on Tuesday of him driving down the road, and veering onto the shoulder to run over a Trump campaign sign. He captioned the video, “I love having a Jeep sometimes.”

The Wilmington Police Department caught site of the video and took to Twitter saying they were investigating the incident.

They tweeted an hour later that they charged Schuessler for reckless driving.

The video has since been shared more than 25,000 times.
