Alcohol not allowed on NJ Transit’s St. Patrick’s trains

NEWARK, N.J. –– Passengers cannot bring alcohol if they’re taking New Jersey Transit trains and buses to the St. Patrick’s Parade in New York City.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on any train operating to and from New York and Hoboken on Thursday. Beverages of any kind are prohibited on buses.

NJ Transit is offering extra bus service to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal on Thursday. Trains and light rail will operate on regular weekday schedules.
