LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. — Dashcam video shot on a Wisconsin highway shows why you should never tailgate other drivers.

Ryan Seiler posted the video to YouTube which shows an SUV closely following a car on the highway.

The driver of the car “brake checks” the driver of the SUV that is following closely behind — meaning the driver in front briefly hit the brakes. The SUV loses control and crashes in the median.

WBAY reported that the driver who crashed has been cited.

“Instead of taking things into your own hands, if you’re upset at another driver or you feel actions are dangerous, call us. That’s what we’re here for. We’ll certainly go up and investigate those incidents,” Officer Michael Lambie of Fox Valley Metro Police told WBAY.
