HOOKSETT, N.H. — A New Hampshire state trooper came to Captain America and Wonder Woman’s rescue Sunday morning when disaster struck for them.

The two superheroes were heading to a child’s birthday party around 11 a.m. when their car broke down on Interstate 93 in Hooksett, according to the state police Facebook page. A state trooper was thankfully nearby and assisted the two.

He even gave them a ride to the birthday party so they wouldn’t be late.

“The children were very excited to see the Superheroes arrive and get out of a ‪#‎NHSP‬ Cruiser,” New Hampshire state police wrote on Facebook.

Captain America and Wonder Woman were able to make it to the birthday party to surprise the children, all thanks to a combined effort with the state trooper.
