Man shot by Super 8 Motel in Nyack: police

NYACK, N.Y. — A man was shot by the Super 8 Motel in central Nyack Saturday, Clarkstown police said.

A 20-year-old man called 911 around 5:40 p.m. and told police an unknown man shot him while he was walking past the motel on Upper Depew Avenue. When police arrived, they found him bleeding from the mouth, according to police.

He was taken to Nyack Hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

There is no description of possible suspects as of yet. Police are still waiting to talk to the victim.

This is an ongoing investigation.
