PHOENIX — Sasha Vujacic scored a season-high 23 points in a rare start, Carmelo Anthony also had 23 and the New York Knicks beat the Phoenix Suns 128-97 on Wednesday night.

Vujacic was 7 of 8 from the field and tied a career high by going 6 of 7 from 3-point range. He made his first start since last November and had not played in two of the Knicks’ last three games.

The Knicks hit a season-high 16 3s. Derrick Williams scored 18 points and Jose Calderon added 10 points and 12 assists as New York won for the second time in six games.

Rookie Devin Booker led Phoenix with 32 points. Tyson Chandler’s nine rebounds gave the veteran center 9,005 for his career, making him the 50th player in NBA history to reach that milestone.
