PROSPECT PARK, Brooklyn — A man was arrested after he stabbed two people in Prospect Park Wednesday night, police said.

A 30-year-old man was jogging around Ocean and Parkside avenues in the park when he saw the suspect towards him, police said. The suspect pulled out a knife and attempted to rob him. The jogger fought him off, but was stabbed in his hands, according to police. The attacker then fled the scene.

A few minutes later, the suspect stabbed a 42-year-old man, who was walking in the park, in the stomach, police said. The suspect took the man’s wallet and fled.

Police arrested the suspect after one of the victims ID’ed him.

Both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital and are said to be in stable condition.
