PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn — An attacker robbed a 91-year-old woman and a man at gunpoint inside a Brooklyn building's vestibule Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Police said the robbery happened inside about 1 p.m. Wednesday at 555 Ninth St. in Park Slope.

The attacker approached the older victim from behind as she stepped into the building, put her in a chokehold and pulled out a handgun, police said. After he pushed her inside, the attacker demanded her money, police said. As he took the woman's money, a 50-year-old man came across the pair in the vestibule. The attacker then pointed the handgun at the man and took his money, police said.

The alleged thief ran away with about $370, the NYPD said.

The culprit appears to be between 40 to 50 years old, last seen wearing a dark-colored sweater, a black jacket, a black wool cap, black gloves, light-colored pants and dark-colored shoes, according to the NYPD.
