BALTIMORE— The TSA stopped a traveler at airport security who was wearing shoes with gun-shaped heels and replica bullet bracelets.

According to TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein, a woman was stopped at Baltimore-Washington International Airport after she was spotted wearing accessories designed like weapons.

Federal authorities delayed the woman at the checkpoint.

Farbstein tweeted a picture of the heels saying the shoes and bracelets were “less than ideal to wear or bring to a TSA checkpoint,” and reminded people that replica firearms and ammunition are not permitted past TSA checkpoints.
