2 dead in Jersey City wrong-way crash on New Jersey Turnpike

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Two people are dead and three people were injured following a serious crash in Jersey City during the Monday afternoon rush hour.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m., in the westbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike Extension at exit 14C in Jersey City.

New Jersey State Police say three cars were involved in the crash.

The names of the deceased have not been released at this time.
