NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Residents are reporting discolored water or no water at all after a water main break late Monday night.

Water service company SUEZ is still working on restoring service and repairs are continuing on a 16-inch water main, as of their 10:15 p.m. Facebook update.

Around 7:45 p.m. Monday, SUEZ received reports of low water, discolored and no water in sections of Pelham and New Rochelle.  About 45 minutes later, crews were working a 16-inch water main in harsh weather conditions on Cedar Street in New Rochelle .

SUEZ says discolored water is caused by iron and manganese sediment and poses has no "health impact."
