There are many ways to celebrate or not to celebrate Valentine's Day this weekend.

Exercise can be good for the heart.

At "iLoveKickboxing" studios in NYC, people can work out and "shred the ex." Amanda Kajen manages the location in Chelsea on W 27th St at 7th Avenue. She says bring a photo, image or reminder of something and use it as motivation during this weekend's routines.

PIX11's Greg Mocker took a few swings at "train delays."

The mock-valentine continues at Mast Brothers Chocolate Makers in Williamsburg. They don't just make candy. The discarded shells are used to make a difference along the shores of Newtown Creek and even make whiskey.

The Bronx Zoo offers a chance to name a cockroach after someone.

NYC's Department of Environmental Protection holds the 3rd Annual Valentine's Tour of a Wastewater Treatment Plant. Reservations were required and the event is full. Another tour will happen in April.
