Truck hits overpass in East Harlem temporarily suspending all trains

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan —  Metro-North trains are running with reduced speed after a truck hit an overpass in East Harlem Monday night.

The truck hit the overpass at 125th Street and Park Avenue. The MTA briefly suspended all service in both directions.

By 10 p.m., one track was open with trains running in both directions.

FDNY says no injuries have been reported and there is no visible damage.

The M60, M100, M101 and Bx15 buses are being detoured in both directions.

Officials do not expect the crash to impact the morning commute.
