Long Island school closings, delays due to winter storm

LONG ISLAND — Multiple schools on Long Island will be closed Monday due to the winter storm that is expected to bring up to six inches snowfall to the area.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for New York City and parts of Long Island until 6 p.m. Monday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Nassau and Suffolk counties.
