BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn — A 50-year-old woman was killed Friday by a yellow school bus.

At 6:34 p.m. Friday, the victim was struck by a yellow school bus at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Schenectady Avenue, according to the NYPD.

A preliminary investigation showed that a car cut off the school bus, causing the bus to jump onto the curb and strike the woman.

She was transported to Interfaith Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
