BUSHWICK, Brooklyn – NYPD released surveillance video Wednesday showing a man accused of groping a 37-year-old woman and later fleeing after she defended herself in Brooklyn last month.

The victim was walking near Eldert Street in Bushwick on the early morning of January 17 when the alleged culprit, believed to be about 4 feet 11 inches tall,  approached her from behind, grabbed her shoulder and pulled her close to him, before grabbing her buttocks, police said.

She would not go down without a fight. The victim then struck his face with keys prior to him running away, according to the NYPD.

There were no reported injuries on her end.
