Hundreds of runners including PIX11 general manager race up the Empire State Building stairs

NEW YORK — Hundreds of runners from around the world raced to the top of the Empire State Building for a good cause Wednesday evening.

The 39th annual Empire State Building Run-Up starts at the lobby of the famous building and scales 86 floors, 1,576 steps and 1,050 feet to the iconic 86th floor observatory.

PIX11's General Manager Rich Graziano made the big climb in support of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
