JAMAICA, Queens – A sanitation worker was arrested after lying on a police report, claiming he was “pistol-whipped” and “beaten up” while on the job.

Michael Morelli, 31, was charged at the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica late Wednesday for filing a false report, cops said.

According to police sources, Morelli changed his story and revealed he was allegedly soliciting a prostitute when he got into a fight with two men and lost his phone Wednesday morning.
