MOTT HAVEN, the Bronx— Police have arrested a man who allegedly chopped up his neighbor with a machete in the Bronx.

Cops say they responded to stabbing inside 383 E. 141st St. in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx just after 4 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, officers found 59-year-old Carmen Torres-Gonzalez with numerous cuts to her body.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Angel Feliz, 26, who lived in the apartment next door to Torres-Gonzalez, was taken into custody and was later charged, police say.

Feliz, who was arrested on assault charges in March 2015, faces new charges for his unprovoked attack, including murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, according to cops.
