BOWERY, Manhattan – New Yorkers got creative when paying their respects to the legendary David Bowie.

A couple of fans sprayed the British artist’s first name onto the Bowery street sign on Houston street during the mammoth blizzard last weekend.

They apparently took a ladder and used white graffiti to fit “David” within the marker. The sign has since been displayed all over Instagram.

Bowie died earlier this month due to cancer. He was 69.
