WASHINGTON, D.C. — Though the blizzard is keeping thousands of residents in the East Coast locked up in their homes, one animal is having the time outside in the snow.

Tian Tian, the giant panda at Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C., woke up ecstatic to see a blanket of snow this morning. The zoo took a video of the 264-pound panda playfully rolling around in it, enjoying himself like a child in a candy store.

Don’t worry about Tian Tian feeling cold — his thick fur keeps him warm even while he rolls around in it.

Washington D.C. was slammed with two feet of snow. Snow began to fall early Friday and will continue until Saturday evening.

Snow began to fall New York 12 a.m. Saturday and is expected to continue until late evening.
