They say a body was recovered from the vehicle, but officials have yet to identify it.

The missing woman, Devorah Stubin, was last seen Thursday night in Maywood Township driving a gray Mitsubishi Galant, according to New Jersey State Police.

A spokeswoman for Wallington Police said a resident called police at 3:11 p.m. Saturday to report damage to a fence along the river by his property in Wallington. Captain Kim Lucas said officers noticed vehicle debris, prompting the dive team to investigate.

Lucas said a vehicle belonging to Stubin was recovered from the river hours later. She suffers from a seizure disorder, officials say.

Officials say a positive ID on the body should be available Sunday morning from the Bergen County Medical Examiner's office.
