NEW YORK — It's just keeps growing: the already record-breaking Powerball jackpot swelled to a hefty $1.4 billion Monday.

The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is the largest in the world and it's expected to grow again before the lucky numbers are called this week.

Though no one won Saturday's massive $900 million jackpot, several new millionaires were made across the country.

Lotto players in Connecticut and Texas won $2 million, while players in Arizona, Connecticut, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia matched five numbers to win $1 million.
