29 NJ lottery ticketholders win $50,000 from Powerball drawing

TRENTON, N.J. — Don’t throw out your Powerball tickets just yet — you may have won some money from Saturday night’s drawing.

Though no one won the jackpot prize of $900 million, 25 people won $1 million, three of them in New York. In New Jersey, 29 lucky lottery ticketholders won the third place prize of $50,000 from Saturday night’s drawing, New Jersey Lottery reported.

Here’s how they won $50,000. Their tickets matched four of the white ball numbers plus the Powerball. The tickets that won $1 million matched all five of the white ball numbers but not the Powerball.

Players can also win $100 for having four of the five white ball numbers or having three of the five white ball numbers plus the Powerball. People can win $4 for just having the Powerball number.

The winning numbers from Saturday’s drawing were: 16, 19, 32, 34, 57, and Red Powerball number 13.

New Jersey sold $39,9 million in Powerball tickets. between Thursday and Saturday.

The record-breaking jackpot swelled to $1.4 billion on Monday. The next drawing will be on Wednesday.

The winner will received an estimated $806 million after taxes.
