NEW YORK — New York state lottery officials say the first-prize winning ticket for the $165 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold at a New York City deli.

An unidentified person bought the winning ticket for Friday’s drawing at the Willowbrook Deli on Victory Boulevard.

Deli manager Sarbjit Singh tells the Staten Island Advance he was “shocked.”

The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing were 11, 39, 51, 57 and 75, plus the Mega Ball 2.

Lottery players in New York and around the country are watching the $900 million Powerball jackpot.

If no one matches all the numbers and wins the largest U.S. lottery prize in history on Saturday, the next drawing is expected to soar to $1.3 billion.
