Man, 2 women sought for questioning in Bronx shooting

MOTT HAVEN, The Bronx – Police are asking the public for help in tracking down a trio who may be responsible for a December shooting in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.

A 29-year-old man was walking near the Mitchel Houses at Willis Avenue and East 135th Street around 5:20 a.m. when he heard a shot and looked down to find that he had been struck in the torso.

It’s unclear whether or not he was targeted in the shooting.

The victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.

Police are trying to track down a man and two women who they believe may have witnessed the shooting from a silver Infinity QX80.
