Suspect wanted for string of robberies in Staten Island shopping center

BULLS HEAD, Staten Island — Police are searching for a man accused of robbing two restaurants on Staten Island.

The incidents, ranging from Dec. 5, 2015 to Jan. 3, 2016, all took place in the Coral Lanes Shopping Center located at 1650 Richmond Ave.

The suspect allegedly throws a rock through the front door of the business before taking money from the cash register.

Police say the suspect last struck Sunday morning around 3:30 a.m., at the Subway located in the shopping center.

Surveillance video shows the suspect throw a brick into the glass door before climbing in and stealing money. He then grabs the tip jar on the counter before fleeing. This was the second time the suspect targeted this location.
