2.1-magnitude earthquake shakes northern Jersey

RINGWOOD, N.J. — A small earthquake rattled northern Jersey, roughly two miles northwest of Ringwood, early Saturday morning, the the U.S. Geological Survey confirmed.

The 2.1-magnitude earthquake happened before 1 a.m. Nearby towns, from Mahwah to some towns in Rockland County, felt little tremors from the earthquake.

There has been no reports of any damages or injuries.
