Man arrested for stalking teen girl in Brooklyn subway station: police

BROOKLYN— Police have arrested a man who allegedly stalked a 15-year-old girl in a Brooklyn subway station.

On Wednesday, Dec. 9, around 8:15 a.m., a 15-year-old girl was on the southbound platform  of the Atlantic Avenue subway station when she noticed someone staring at her.

The stalker, Raheen Reid, followed her around the station, then approached her, grabbed her arm and told her to come with him. The victim refused and fled the scene.

Then on Dec. 15, around 8:15 a.m., the victim was once again in the station and Reid followed her, and tried to persuade her to leave with him. The victim refused and Reid fled.

The victim was able to get a photo of the suspect before he fled the scene.

Reid was arrested on Tuesday and charged with attempted kidnapping, acting in a manner injurious to a child, and stalking.
