TIMES SQUARE, N.Y.— If you’re worried about getting hungry in Times Square while waiting for the ball to drop on New Years— you might want to pack some snacks.

Restaurants in the area are charging a fortune for dinner to ring in the New Year.

If you want those famous warm bread sticks from Olive Garden, be prepared to pay big. Dinner at the Olive Garden in Times Square will cost $400 a person— that includes a DJ, open bar, and a buffet meal.

And that’s by no means the highest price among the chain restaurants in Times Square.

Bubba Gump Shrimp on Broadway will charge $799 a person. While, Ruby Tuesday will range from $349 a head, to $1,700 for the “couple’s VIP table.”
