A Muslim family in Georgia got an unexpected surprise while eating dinner Christmas Eve at an Olive Garden.

Along with unlimited bread sticks and salad, they had their bill paid for by a total stranger.

Eslam Mohamed, wrote on Facebook that he and his family, 12 in total, were dining at the Olive Garden in Augusta, Georgia.

When he asked for the check the waitress brought over the receipt with the message "Paid, Merry Christmas beautiful family."

Mohamed posted a photo of the receipt on Facebook saying his family was shocked.

“I can’t express how this act touched our hearts,” he wrote. “Among all the bad things happening to Muslims and the hate speech that the presidential candidate has made lately, there is still light in the dark, there is still hope in the frustration. All I can say to who did that: Merry Christmas to you too and God bless such a beautiful heart you have.”

Mohamed's post has since gone viral, with commenters joining him and celebrating the act of kindness. As of Monday morning, the post has more than 20,000 shares.
