A woman told police she woke up to find this man inside her Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn – A Brooklyn woman woke up screaming after finding a masked, hooded man inside her home.

The 38-year-old was sleeping in her Herkimer Street apartment when she awoke just after 8:00 a.m. to find the intruder creeping around her home.

When she started screaming, the man, who police believe is about 27 years old, fled the apartment.

Police say he is roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds.

Anyone with information in the Nov. 23 incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
